Beauty & the Beast
Elegant meets rustic in this version of the classic tale
As the fairy tale goes the beautiful young woman Belle is taken prisoner by a Beast who in reality is a prince cursed to inhabit a hideous form reflecting his own previous cruelty. In the Disney version of the classic tale the curse is represented by an enchanted withering rose. By finding true love, despite his ugliness, the prince can break the curse, but only before the withering rose loses all its petals.
Enjoy the beautiful withering rose in the form of a light, elegant and floral cocktail served in a glass bell.
Served over rock ice with some organic rose petals in a wine glass. Top with Fentiman’s rose lemonade. Stir to mix. Garnish with the organic rose from which you picked the petals.
Challenge the Beast and its fangs by owning this rustic, powerful and bitter cocktail.
Build over rock ice, topped with tonic and a discarded orange twist. Garnished with a Tistel.
*Infuse the sherry with two table spoons of good coffee beans for an hour and strain.
Serve Belle and the Beast together to complete the narrative.
