The sun is out and Spring finally seems to be just around the corner.
This little green beauty from Helium will definitely help invoke it.
4 cl Absolut Original Vodka
2 cl Lillet Blanc
2 cl fresh lime
2 cl simple syrup
1 dash of egg White
1 sprig of parsley
Shake hard with ice and fine strain into a lowball glass over rock ice. Garnish with a parsley leaf and a spray of absinthe for the final aromatic touch.
The Evergreen Sour is inspired by Danish summer and was made ny Jeppe Nothlev and Nicklas Jørgensen for the Aboslut Invite cocktail competition in 2016 for which they won the Danish finals.
Parsley and fortified wine makes this drink a light herbal delight. The spray of absinth provides the aromatic finish and draws out the subtle complex flavors of the herbs indside.
